One of my neighbors came by on her way to work this morning to drop this book off. She'd just finished it. I LOVE James Patterson's Alex Cross books but those are the only ones I've read. This one isn't an Alex Cross mystery but hopefully the character will be as good.
Anyone else read Patterson?

I used to, but haven't for a long time. In that genre, I'm really into Robert Tannenbaum. He's been writing for quite some time and has the same cast of characters (give or take a few) in his stories, just like Patterson, however, if I remember James' books correctly, Tannenbaum is a more complicated read--and by that I mean the stories (especially the more recent ones) have many more subplots running through them that you have to keep track of.
I'll add Tannenbaum to my list of books to investigate when I go to the bookstore. I'm running out of Patterson hehehehe. The only ones I really hate are women's mysteries where the woman stops running for her life long enough to swoon over and have sex with some guy. Frankly, I think sex would be about the last thing on my mind if some serial killer was hunting me. I'd be seeking a cave in the Andes and lots and lots of automatic weapons.
